Statistics show that couples are in marital distress for seven years before they seek help. By the time many couples come for marriage counseling, one or both spouses are weary and are ready to give up on the relationship. The same can be said for most relationships; by the time help is sought, many years of distress have been endured. The emotional energy that has kept the relationship going is about ready to run out. Don’t wait!

If anger, depression and arguing have been a consistent part of your relationship, seek help now. The emotional energy that you are putting into the cycle that is not working for you will be needed to make healthy changes to improve your relationship. Listen to your intuition. It will be telling you that things do not feel good and that something needs to change, but you may not be sure what to do. That is how you can utilize a Marriage and Family Therapist. We have the training, education, and experience to work on improving interactions and relationship dynamics to improve the feeling of connectedness. Broken connection often leaves us feeling sad, lonely, or empty. Seek help now before you run out of energy to "fight for" the relationship.

If you have any questions about this or want further information, please call (317) 364-6078 - cell number or (317) 846-2444 x4 - office number, and I will be happy to talk with you or set up an appointment. Don’t wait, take the first step today.
